Paramedics respond to emergency medical calls, providing on-site care and transporting patients safely to medical facilities. They assess a patient's condition and implement first-aid procedures. They also maintain equipment, file reports and transport patients between hospitals.

Your top candidates will have an EMT certification, completion of a paramedic training course, at least six months of experience working as an EMT, and passing the NREMT (National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians) exam. Paramedics can be EMTs, flight medics, and firefighter medics.
