About the HR Administrator Position

As an HR Administrator, you’ll be the first point of contact for both external candidates and current employees. To succeed in this position, you’ll need excellent communication and critical thinking skills. You’ll also be willing to lend a hand in other ad hoc tasks our team needs assistance with.
HR Administrator Responsibilities
- Assist with various administrative duties such as photocopying, scheduling interviews and meetings, and making travel arrangements
- Maintain employee documentation and records, including hiring information, warnings, and sick and vacation leave
- Assist in new employee orientation by creating onboarding packets and answering questions regarding key tenets of employment
- Track payment records and process payroll, both checks and direct deposits
- Work alongside recruiters, both external and internal, to ensure best hiring practices
- Update company policies to ensure legal compliance
- Serve as the first point of contact for the human resources department
- Answer telephone calls and email inquiries from both internal and external parties
HR Administrator Requirements
- [1+] years experience in a similar role
- BA/BS in human resources or similar field preferred
- Proficient with computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite and HR software, such as HRIS or HRMS
- Knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Superb critical thinking and judgment skills
- Must be a team player
