Marketing Intern Responsibilities

• Assist the marketing team with general administrative tasks as needed
• Collect data from recent marketing campaigns and provide analysis to the marketing team
• Research various competitors to provide analysis on what works and what doesn’t
• Share ideas for the overall marketing plan
• Create and edit newsletter content as needed
• Assist in the distribution of marketing materials through scheduling emails, making phone calls, or sending out physical mail
• Create social media posts for campaigns, making adjustments based on team feedback and needs
• Monitor social media posts, interacting with commenters to boost visibility
• Prepare presentations for both management and potential clients
• Help plan and host marketing events

Marketing Intern Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate course for marketing, communications, or related field
• Strong knowledge and understanding of best marketing practices and trends
• Working familiarity with marketing software, such as HootSuite and Canva, and social media platforms
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with great interpersonal skills
• Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking skills
• Must be a creative thinker
