About the UI Designer Position

  • Maintain style guides, design systems, and UI pattern libraries
  • Research industry standards to learn what users might want from your design
  • Stay up-to-date on industry standards for best practices

UI Designer Requirements

  • [3+] years experience working as a UI Designer, UX Designer, or in a similar role
  • A robust portfolio that demonstrates your UI skills
  • BA/BS in web design, graphic design, or similar field, professional certification in UI Design preferred but not required
  • Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite creative software, Figma, Sketch, and other applicable design programs
  • Experience working in the Agile/Scrum development process
  • Adept at creating storyboards, wireframes, and mockups
  • Knowledge of various accessibility best practices, including those defined by the ADA
  • Excellent communication skills while working as part of a team and independently
  • Superb attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Must be a creative problem solver who can accept constructive feedback and adapt as needed
