About the Bank Teller Position

We're looking for a reliable bank teller to process all transactions accurately and efficiently using set policies and procedures.

The successful candidate will be the front lines of our bank and will play a significant role in achieving our customer satisfaction and revenue growth objectives.

Bank Teller Responsibilities

  • Conduct dozens of routine transactions within time limits and fixed guidelines (cash checks٫ accept deposits and loan payments٫ process withdrawals٫ etc. )
  • Evaluate customer needs and introduce new products and services (credit cards٫ saving bond٫ etc. )
  • Make sales referrals٫ recommend alternate courses and cross-sell products and services
  • Go the extra mile to build relationships٫ customer loyalty٫ and satisfaction
  • Comply with regulatory requirements
  • Control risk in every transaction and detect fraudulent transactions to prevent losses
  • Resolve customers’ issues and provide appropriate information

Bank Teller Requirements

  • Some experience in banking٫ personal banking٫ retail banking or financial services
  • Basic PC knowledge and expertise with electronic equipment (e.g. cash drawers٫ receipt validators٫ money counters)
  • Great communication and time management skills
  • Customer satisfaction orientation
  • Attention to detail and mathematical skills
  • Exceptional sales skills
  • BS in Finance٫ Banking or relevant field
