About the Typist position

Our company is looking for a skilled Typist to fulfill word processing and data entry tasks on a daily basis. Your mission will be to ensure that corporate documentation is accurate٫ relevant٫ up-to-date and available to all company's personnel.

A successful candidate should be able to type fast and accurately and verify that existing documentation is free from grammar٫ spelling and punctuation errors. We expect you to be able to work under tight deadlines and to maintain the confidentiality level when working with sensitive information.

Typist responsibilities:

  • Transferring data received on paper into digital systems: documents٫ media٫ databases
  • Transcribing data from audio format into plain text
  • Taking notes during events and meetings to compose detailed texts
  • Editing completed documentation to remove any grammar٫ spelling and punctuation errors
  • Gathering and organizing materials for typing
  • Preparing different kinds of presentation data using the information from existing files
  • Maintaining filing systems٫ both digital and physical
  • Copy٫ print and scan files
  • Follow the security policies when working with corporate information

Typist requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience of working on a Typist٫ Data Entry Clerk٫ or Data Entry operator position
  • Good practical experience with data recording and optical scanning devices
  • Fast and accurate typing skills
  • Profound experience with most popular kinds of word processing solutions and spreadsheets
  • Experience with touch typing systems is a plus
  • Strong English language skills
  • Ability to find grammar٫ spelling and punctuation errors in the documentation
  • Good knowledge of office equipment
